jerry on houston radio

my good joc karma continues. Normally by 8:30 I'm already @ work. But, this morning I had a hard time getting my lazy butt out of bed. Thus, I was a little late. I was listening to my favorite morning show when Joc calls in. They asked him numerous times about his romance with Rebecca. He totally ignored them. I don't think he even acknowledged the question. He talked about cj. And the usual its an adult job now, etc. He sounded really tired at first. matter of fact, I wouldn't have recognized his voice at the beginning unless I knew who it was. He said he was coming to H town in late Oct. to do some kind of Perry Ellis thing. he called it a photo shoot but I know they are doing a Perry Ellis fashion show on Oct. 28. So maybe that's what he's coming to town for. He said he wished he had come to the all star game b/c the stadium looked great. And,I gotta add its a great baseball stadium. Okay, back to joc. He got on some tangent about the actors studio show on bravo. It was really funny. he said he wanted to be on it but probaly would always be someone sitting in the audience asking stupid questions. And he went on a 5 minute spree where they couldn't shut him up. Guess his coffee was kicking in  they once again asked him was he coming alone to h-town with his significant other. He said yes I'm bringing my dad. I make the old man carry my bags. I spit out my water at that one. Cute, real cute. he is such a spaz. I love it.

Many interesting things he said there. I would love to see more of those Perry Ellis shoots.
They couldn't stop him talking? Funny.

Oh - I missed this post yesterday! Lucky you - Jerry always seems to call in to your radio show.
Sounds like H town is Houston Texas to me. So, are you going to try to get tickets to the fashion show? Sounds like Jerry's going to be a part of it huh!
Funny, after all the tabloid publicity Jerry doesn't want to talk about Rebecca. Wonder if they are already history and that's why he doesn't want to talk about her? Or it could just be his usual thing of shying away from talking about his love life in interviews. Even after he and Giuliana had been dating for a year it seemed the most he would say is 'I have a girlfriend' and didn't mention her by name. (Then blew my socks off by doing a couples week edition of the game Pyramid with her - after never wanting to talk about her).

Can you tell us what the radio station (name, call letters, dial position?) that Jerry called in to? Many radio stations have web sites whre they post audio from celebrity interviews  Worth checking on anyway!

kedd, it was khmx, 96.5. they do have a website but I don't know if they post their celebrity interviews. It was the Roula and Ryan show. I know it was a joc interview on this same radio station that got me interested in Cj in the first place. I had heard him being interviewed by them once before and I thought "umm he's such a fun loving kind of guy" that I decided to check out the show. And the rest is history.  h town is Jerry's name for Houston. In the interview he said he was coming to town Oct. 29 for a photo shoot but I happen to know perry ellis has a fashion show in Houston on Oct. 28. So, I'm checking it out and going to try and go.I know someone in the fashion industry in Houston so I got inside scoop if I want it. I'm hoping he just got his dates wrong and he's really coming on Oct. 28 for the show. You know men!!! And it was very strange about Rebecca b/c he totally ignored them when they asked about it. They tried really hard to get him to talk but he kept silent. Your right ,they are either broken up or just being super low key. He's a pretty open, easy going kind of guy but he may want to keep some things private. Which I don't blame him for that. people should respect that. I still find it very strange that no pictures have been taken of them together. I've seen NONE. Isn't that weird?

Yeah, it's funny that they have been spotted on 'dates' but never seemed to show up at the typical celeb events where photographers would have snapped a shot of them together.
Something tells me that as popular as Rebecca is, the paparazi are spending time stalking other celebs like Britney Spears or Jennifer Lopez for candid photos.

I know they are being low key. Usually when celebs do radio interviews the dj's always say beforehand "oh we were told not to ask about this or that" They asked so obviously Jerry didn't mind them asking. He just ignored them. It was a strange interview in a way. Because he sounded so tired at first. Not at all like himself. And they just went in for the kill. The first thing they asked was about him and Rebecca. Finally he just said "hey lets be serious for a moment" and started talking about cj. Of course, it was 8:30 texas time so 6:30 Los Angeles time. Maybe he just didn't want to discuss his love life so early in the morning. But, then he got on a roll and they couldn't get him to shutup. He is hysterical. I would love to hang out with him b/c I think he would just make you laugh all the time.

my joc karma con't.... he is definately going to be in Houston on Oct. 28. The Perry Ellis site says he's going to be @ foley's in the galleria from 6-8pm. I am so there. I will have to take my boys though. I don't think hubby will go. He's a stick in the mud and won't go. Oh my that will make 3 hyper people in one room...jerry and my boys. I hope I survive. I will take pics. I guess he's signing autographs. If he is I feel for Joc b/c my one son is a talker and he is funny around celebrities. I have a really funny story about him and a wrestler we met @ a sports show. But, I will save that for another post. I get to see JOC!!!

I will see if I can pick up that station here in Ar. We can get the Dallas and larger stayions signal some. Maybe I need to plan a road trip for next month, hum.....

Robandchrismom - I'm sooo happy for you I mean, this is just your perfect luck! Jerry is doing an autograph session in your town. I know it's a month away so hopefully things don't change and he still shows up. I know you and your boys will have fun, and you'll have to tell us all about it.
I'll go check out the web site right now for Perry Ellis to see what they say.

thanks Kedd and he better not cancel. I have already rsvp for the event. Pogue, take a road trip and come see Joc with me. It would be fun. I can't wait. I'm going to be moving kind of slow b/c I have my bladder surgery the week before. But, the nurse told me today that I wil be okay. I may be a little sore but I will be okay to attend anything I wanted to. I am so excited. I am going to take lots of pics and make sure I tell everyone of my experience. Pogue, do you live in Texas? come and go see joc with me. I want to tell you ladies of the experience I had with my son and the professional wrestler b/c its a cute story. But, I will do that in a separate post in the general section. Its cute.
