JOC tv alert! (Carson Daly, Tony Danza)

I just checked with tvguide online and they have Jerry scheduled on (I'm thinking tonite) Last call with Carson Daly on NBC. I"m going to try and tape it. Just thought you all should know. It said it was on Thursday Nov, 11, 2004, on NBC at 12:35am. Take care LOL! JOCFAN

i remember him also being scheduled to appear on The Tony Danza Show...but i can't remember what time/date/etc...I'll check when I get home!!

Yikes! Jerry is on Tony Danza TODAY (Wednesday the 10th) but you have to check your local listings to see what station and time the show airs (for me it's at 3:00 pm on ABC)
Thanks for checking on this stuff you guys - I've been too inconsistent in checking the TV listings

Sigh. We don't even get Tony's show here in Chicago area. Could someone tape it for me, if it's worth it? I'm going to try taping Last Call tonight. Thanks Bunches!!

Boy, I'd have to watch Tony Danza again to give you the full scoop. I was too preoccupied wondering what Jerry had on under his sweat suit to pay attention to what he was saying!
Here's the run down...
Jerry came out in a sweat suit w/mock turtle neck totally zipped up. I was thinking 'oh no, what's he dressed up as this time? Can't be Chippendales again! Or is he hiding a massive hicky?'
Jerry did the token 'hi mom' and Tony thought it was strange since his mom wasn't in the audience. Jerry explained it's something he always does because she'll watch the show. He joked that she's more excited about him being on talk shows than she'd be if he won an academy award.
Tony mentioned twice that when Jill was on recently, she said Jerry's always 'shirtless' on Crossing Jordan and asked 'why?'. I'm pretty sure Jerry blew off the question just kind of saying something like 'no, I'm not always shirtless'. He made some comment like "It's not like I'm a chippendales dancer"
Jerry mentioned growing up in Chelsea, going to NYU, and being in the audience when his film class screened Stand By Me - supposedly his friends sitting with him saw his name flash up on the screen and were like "hey, why didn't you tell us you were in this!"
Jerry also tried to tell the story again about modeling underpants (aka 'underwears') in Central Park for Perry Ellis. He mentioned not being in his 'best light', but didn't go into the whole fluffing part of the story. He said the photos will come out in February (make a mental note of that!). They actually showed one odd looking photo of Jerry wearing a suit - he's laying on a bunch of black iron chairs (Jerry looks nice, but the whole set up looks uncomfortable).
Finally Jerry mentined that he liked to play Ping Pong. The show set it up for him to play a round of ping pong against Tony and Jerry said something like 'I wore my ping pong outfit'. He ripped off his sweat suit and had on some 1970's looking gym shorts, and what was actually a skin tight little girls cropped green shirt (to show off his abs). He looked like a dork - and I'm not ashamed to say this because that is the effect he had to be going for. It's almost as if by wearing that outfit he was saying 'you think I'm goofy? I'll show you goofy!'
So, they played ping pong. I think Tony won.
That's my memory of the show anyway.

he's such a spaz. I love it. Thanks for the play by play. I tell you that man doesn't have a shy bone in his body. I truly think after meeting him and seeing him on talk shows he will do anything. he's one of these people all you gotta do is double dog dare him and he will do it. No matter how foolish or silly he will look. He'll do it. Look at this way, his mom raised him to be super confident. that's a nice quality. And at least he's caring enough to say hi to mom on every show. I know I would be the same way with my kids. If my boys grow up to be actors they better do the same thing to me and say hello to me on talk shows.

O'CONNELL STRIPS DOWN FOR PING-PONG GAME
Actor JERRY O'CONNELL gave fans a flash of his body yesterday morning (10NOV04), when he stripped down to a tight little outfit for a ping-pong game against TONY DANZA.
During O'Connell's appearance on Danza's new chat show, the pair began discussing the fast-paced table game.
O'Connell, who's the new face of PERRY ELLIS' underwear range, says, "I don't wanna be rude, Tony, I think I can take you down. And I brought a little outfit for the occasion."
As O'Connell peeled away his tracksuit to reveal the tight outfit, he yelled, "You're going down, Tony! Bring it!"
But his efforts were wasted - Danza walked away from the game victorious.

Ugh - it turns out Jerry's Carson episode airs TONIGHT - evening of the 11th, early am the 12th (1:30 am).
It gets so confusing, because technically the 11th was this morning. I should have caught it in TV Guide but didn't.

Oh my god! I have got to see Jerry in that ping pong outfit!! I LOVE IT!! He's such a delight.
Hey kedd, I'll send you more money...any chance you'd wanna send me another tape??
I'm in such a Jerry phase! Would help if I had a nice sweet, brilliant, goofy hilarious, hunk of my own to obsess about instead.
oh well.
